In This Video I share with you why some car repair shops get bad reputations. What started as a routine and simple timing belt job turned into a multi hour major surgery to this engine because of malpractice from a shop that did this maintenance before!
This infuriates every mechanic and shop owner! We work very hard to do right by people and do quality work. Then come some mechanics that just make it all go away! This makes me sad!
This beautiful 1999 Toyota Camry V6 wasn’t maintained as it should using the usual cheap quality parts and “over maintained” unnecessarily.
Folks be careful with mechanics and shops. You need to trust your car mechanic. if you don’t, it’s a mistake to continue using them. Ask them to show you things, Ask them to show you the new parts and old parts. No good mechanic gets upset if you ask for your old parts back. It is my pleasure to show you your old parts back and better yet show you anything before we start the job so you are well informed and fully understand why every job costs what it does.

Wow it's perfect court testimony!!! If we had guys like you to punish crap jobs all over ! Giving accepted legally video , you would clean up competition and incompetence very fast ! 50% places are closed withing a year! I would :1publish adress of the shop 2 publish evidence , it was taken there, in the past, for this work. 3 have photos and vidio of actual work . They shall repay the guy for the job and they can not say anything become all the evidence is right there . Then you publish this on Google and other public resources . You can damn build it into huge USA business! Things like that happen left and right on car repairs, it's clear 1,2,3 obvose evidence 🧾 its done. Who is with me !!! I will run Florida or any state division of this " quality company" QC! And you is going to be a president of car quality workamship division , senior VP , in the main office !!! Damn !!! Let's take this , to the whole new level!!!
Great video. Great man. Lucky customer.
Hey car care nut I adjusted the stop bolt for the throttle because I had a pretty high idle after cleaning the IAC because of a little high idle (Only 850 I know i shouldve left it alone)
What do I do to get it back to where its supposed to be? should I replace the IAC then adjust stop bolt to where the RPM is 750? PLZZZ help
Also I have a P0420 code for cat below efficiency, does tat mean the cat is dead?
just like you suggested, am doing most things myself. The next major replacement on my car's 2gr will be the gasket set, waterpump, vvti oil feed line all metal(rubber)

I have problems with the rear parking sensors. Toyota tacoma trd sport 2020.
Such a rare breed of mechanic! Good for you for hanging out your own shingle – you'll never look back. I wish I were closer to have someone like you look my vehicle over. What do you recommend for service when your vehicle is over 10 years old and the mileage is way past the maximum in the owner's manual? I love my Lexus, but I want it to keep running for many more years. I'd just kick myself if there was something that I have should have done. 2013 RX450h, btw. Thanks for taking the time to put out these informative videos! 👍
shop cheated the old woman with cheap part and un-necessary repair. it happen all the time.
