Anti lag is one reason stock turbo cars(like my twin scroll buick) have the rubber expansion sections on the intercooler charge pipes. The expansion joints grow during boost then in between shift they collapse, pushing air into the turbo. even though you were off the throttle for a quick bit, the turbo got a boost of pressure. Works well, but so many drivers install solid charge pipes, then deal with more boost lag after a shift.
I may not have ALS on my legacy turbo but. . .I know know what it does. Thanks scotty. One love from Jamaica.
