I was looking at a tv show where they had a new Durango. They were driving down the street and the water pump just went out. And it died in the middle of the street. I said I would never buy a Durango.

From personal experience when a car has a problem that triggers a fault code it may also trigger another fault code completely unrelated to the true cause. For instance, my mom had a Dodge Charger R/T which had an issue with the water pump and thermostat triggering P0128 (faulty thermostat/temp sensor) but it also had fault codes P0121 for throttle position sensor and P0456 for evap leak. However upon further investigation on there was no issue with the throttle position sensor nor was there an evap leak, only the faulty water pump and thermostat. Maybe it’s a similar case with the Durango. It probably had one true problem that caused a false positive in other systems.

Cut out "this" and "Durango" from the title

When is Chrysler going to get it together?

I'm not a FCA enthusiast, but if the alternator was in fact the cause of the problem and FCA replaced it under warranty, then you really can't complain too much.

I’m leasing a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. I had a recall because they put the incorrect oil cap on the engine giving the incorrect type of oil to use for that engine.

Last time I ever give Chrysler/Fiat my cash.
