I have a Kia Sorento with the same engine, and it too burns some oil. With 5W20 full synthetic it burned ~1qt/1K miles. I switched to 5W30 synthetic blend and now it burns about about 3/4 quart every 2k miles.
🤠
.
Stay away from Hyundai and Kia. Consume oils, rip off customers. There cars are garbage, Check their lawsuit to see if your vehicle is apart of it.
Damn 12k for a 10 year old beater with over 100k miles!? He got scammed lmfao
Rip, Scotty
My 2012 sonata hybrid is a pile of well Lol
I found the juxtaposition of the link for this video where Scotty is annoyed with a crooked car dealer right next to the link for Bologna: A History on my computer screen showing Recently Downloaded youTube videos very amusing.
I am just thinking about the Monty Python skit with the guy "I'm not dead yet". "Yes you are, you'll be stone dead in a minute"…(Bring out your dead).
I have a 2004 Ranger with the 4 cyl that used a quart of oil every 1200 miles. It does have 295,000 miles on it. The manual tranny has had a set of bearings put in, and a new clutch at 200,000. Just a great little truck. Still gets 34 miles a gallon as long as I keep it about 65 MPH.
I got it with 19k on it, and have used Royal Purple oil in it. I got pretty lucky when I got it.
Smiles
Who started the Scotty passing rumor? Must be Chevy and Dodge.
