You can buy a Bluetooth diagnostic plug in for about $30 for a decent one. You can pay more but really, they are all the same. The best app to run it is called Torque, It's got everything and only costs $4.99 I believe. It has everything even logging and overlays.
Seems like a long promo video to me. Scotty always mentions how his viewers should wait on these new products so the company can work the bugs out which he does in this video, but he seems too enthusiastic about this one probably a nice check came in the mail along with it.
I prefer the $100 analyzer on ebay that I bought, it reads all codes for my Acura/Honda's and allows me to do SAS calibration and bunch of other resets that are useful
Thinkcar app says it requires android 5.0 but google play says my 5.0 android device is compatible. 🙁
