imma have to disagree the Lexus es350 has more stuff in the interior and a inch of extra space if that is even noticeable. Regardless of that the main issue with the Avalon it was WAY overpriced when they released these in 2019, a Toyota for 42k-45k (msrp) isn't worth when u can get a Lexus 350 for the same price…. plus since it matters to some people hearing u have a 44k Lexus versus a 44k Toyota ESPECIALLY A SEDAN… yea yikes… and then the Avalon grew a reputation for being bought by elderly people in the past like a Buick. Yes Avalons are very reliable and the looks of the new one are nice but they were 10 years too late and that's why they r discontinuing the Avalon
Avalon only comes with 4 as a hybrid otherwise only a 6

I bought the 2019 Avalon XSE Hybrid, I get 52 in the summer and 40ish in the winter. Its been a great, comfortable car. Picked it up for $36k new.
I have a 1992 honda civic vx that gets 45 mpg(around 50 on the highway). No hybrid system to worry about and is super easy to work on. Yeah, it only has 92 hp, but the transmission is geared low enough and the car is lightweight enough to make it fun to drive.
I had a Rav4 for a rental for 3 weeks while my truck was in the shop it almost crippled me driving it never again
