I absolutely believe what Scotty is saying about the 63% of people…  Just look at Carvana.  I mean are you kidding?  There's people that just order a used car off the internet, have it delivered home or pick it up from a car vending machine.  And they think this is OK and all will be well and happy?  Really?  Ridiculous!  I've had brand new cars with problems the dealer said would be fixed and couldn't be.  They were so defective they caused me trip after trip to repair and I'd get disgusted and trade them in.  Brand new cars!  Even when a salesman says the car hasn't been serviced yet, or something like it's low on tire pressure, etc.  Don't buy it.  Go back when the car is ready "for sale" and drive it again.  Anyone using Carvana or the like shouldn't be buying their own car.  They need to have it chosen for them by a professional car mechanic.

Scotty, you should be more clear that; There are "expiration dates" for most parts. Things like timing belts, you change them at a certain age, or mileage and often that belt still LOOKS good. You do NOT want to contonue driving and risk it.

I’m 50% sure you’re right 99% of the time Scotty
