As an owner of a 2017 lexus GS I can honestly say it's the best car I've ever owned.
Mom has a 2004 RX330 at 303k miles. Biggest service was when me and my dad had to spend a day changing the valve cover gaskets.
I had a 2000 GS300 at 278k miles. Only things that gave out were 2 of the coils at 240k & the original upper rad hose at 250k while driving. Stopped just in time. Changed hose. Refilled. Purred like a kitten. Got swiped by car in rain, pushed into rail, so totaled.
Now got a clean 1-owner 2000 GS300 with 94k miles from Sewell Chicago. Basically new, and will outlive every other car I own.
Do a Google search on Lexus rattles and noises—Quality control seems to be slipping.
