Lol…aside from the great marketing potential, I'm sure the tire company providing tires on the upcoming Explorer has found some flaw to exploit and bring you back into the service station

We got caught up in the Firestone Tire/Explorer fiasco in the 90s. Never trusted Ford to tell the truth again.

  3. Michael Ball

Michelin has had self-sealing tires on 2017 and later Chevy Bolt.

Hey scotty what do you think about Carvana?

Hey scootty what do you think of a 2015 Ford Edge with a 3.5 V6 how do I keep it running for years

For some reason this video looks like it was made on a green screen. Wonder if Scotty is upgrading his tech. A good idea to use a green screen, you never have to worry about something embarrassing getting left on the couch.

Tire companies had used a viscous sealant layer for years I remember from the 90's Continental and Vogue tire was offering it. It is applied to the inside of the tire in the tread area ONLY. I think Continental has a whole line of tires with it you can buy today…..

For Scotty it’s only yes or no answers most of the time

  9. Lawrence Anderson

I remember like 10-15 yrs ago in a Firestone store I saw a tire on display that had that goop in it it was a very sticky substance that lined the inside of the tire by the tread area It was purported to be self sealing tire Sop not such a new concept
