    How modern we talking here? I have a 2001 740i just rolled 200k still runs great had it for 3 years paid 4 grand from the original owner zero issues so far very comfy car to drive.

    Couldn't agree more Scotty, I have a 97 E36 convertible with a 144000 on the clock it's maintained regardless of cost and my local BMW dealer looks after me on parts, had it 15 years now and I'll never part with it!and yes even in the UK 🇬🇧 we might get a couple of days in the summer to have my roof down. 👍🤣🤣

    You learn a lot about things like this. Which makes and models are good or bad,yrs to buy or not buy.
    Priceless info if you pay attention.

    My cousin is a BMW fanatic, he beats on his bmw yet it is at 216,000 miles and runs fine! I think it’s all pure luck, he believes that it’s the M series that’s so poorly made
