I have a 08 dodge avenger sxt 2.7 v6 142000 miles nd I'm having a misfire in the first gear making car rumble nd making a noise under the hood on idle . I change my spark plugs, ingition coils , crankshaft sensor , camshafts sensor nd still the misfire. Then I took it to my local "stupid" car shop nd got a diagnostic nd they said it was my ECU failed . Well knowing the ECU is an easy install I ordered on online refurbished nd program to my VIN . Put it in and car started right up but with the same exact problem with the misfire . Do u know wat it could be next . Clohged Fuel injector, (please dont say fuel pump) because now I'm just throwing money away to a car the hasn't moved for 4 months
-and also the end of the exhaust blows in and out air rapidly
Back in the day, I used to love a Dodge truck. Fiat getting involved was the final staw with me, especially with all the trouble I had with my last Dodge, a 2001 Ram 1500 4×4.
I should have unloaded it after putting a transmission in it after only 39000 miles. Bought a 2015 Ford F-250 in July of 14- only brand new vehicle I've ever had- not one problem even after 76000 miles. I keep the maintenance up, and I don't abuse it. I'm actually a professional driver.
