My 2008 Altima Coupe turns 13 next year and it's the best car I've ever owned. No problems in all that time, but I followed Scotty's advice before he ever gave it and got the 5-speed manual.
Nissan used to be good, and their cars were almost as reliable as Honda and Toyota. They made fantastic engines and legendary cars. Then they got bought out by Renault, who has done nothing but make the company a total joke with cheap corner-cutting and terrible quality control that actually got them in trouble with the Japanese government. Nissan is just spiraling down and down and is now the FCA of the Japanese automakers.
Scotty, how much time did you spend working on your Japanese names? Some of those are real tongue twisters.
The most fun of owning Datsun’s was trying to understand shop manuals translated from Japanese to English. 🤣
Its pronounced Ni Hon san Gyo. I have no idea why you are pronouncing it Ni-han san gi yo

Got my first Datsun in 1972, fresh out of the army. I have had multiple Nissans, since then, including vans for corporate use, a hardbody, Maxima and Frontier. I have never had a problem with any of these vehicles. Scotty has continually run down Nissan. Has he changed his mind because he is now in Tennessee?
