I'm sorry scotty but my 08 Mitsubishi Lancer has 146k On the clock and I'm the second owner to the car it still drives like brand new no issues so i know my car will make it to 200k with ease
Now what about NISSAN…
I have a 2006 Eclipse GT with an automatic. I bought it brand new. I have almost 200k miles and have had very few problems with the car. It's been the most reliable car I've owned. It still runs like a bat out of hell.
Chrysler doesn't have quality control which is why their cars are poorly built and their Italian engines aren't good

What do you think of the current VCM system in honda vehicles? I know they were problematic back in ~2008. Have the issues/kinks been worked out? The car I'm considering is a 2017 accord v6 sedan.

Hey Scotty most people these days do not look after their cars I own a Mitsubishi 3000 GT / GTO and a Mitsubishi Galant vr4 and they are both all drive with V6 twin turbos never had a problem as the previous owners had kept up the maintenance it's the same with any manufacturer and they both standard transmissions
Sorry your so wrong about Mitsubishi especially the outlander we have a 08 with the 3.0 v6 6 speed auto 168,000 miles and counting only regular maintenance done no lie
