What everyone has missed -when oil reaches $100/bbl Russia always goes to war, because they can afford to.
Straight up price gouging…It's manufactured crisis after manufactured crisis, as different corporate entities take turns exploiting the population and pillaging the treasury..It's what historically occurs in collapsing empires, they eat themselves from the inside out….
With prices going up …that how politicians got their 21% raise
in Quebec Canada we're paying even more than in California. It's 1.90$/L CA, which is the equivalent of 5.70$/gallon USD.
I also believe it’s oil companies trying to make up for the losses they incurred when oil was extremely cheap. It was also very high before the Ukraine crisis.
I just don’t understand how speculation has an immediate impact on the price of gasoline. This definitely has nothing to do with what’s going on in Ukraine, or if it does then very little. Are there any other commodities that have their prices impacted in such a way? Soy bean futures perhaps? If anyone can shed any sort of light on this I would greatly appreciate it.
Your usually a pretty smart cookie. Your off base this time. Gas has been going up long before Russia. It’s been going up because of the democrats hate for fossil fuels. Thus terrible policies.
Sadly scotty does not understand how oil prices are created , it's by open auction system called the futures market ,there is plenty of '' Greed '', but also ''Hope'' and '''Fear'' this determines at a point in time the true value .
