I have an Electrolux vacuum that works beautifully at seventy years old and a Kirby that’s flawless at forty six years old. Electric motors can last indefinitely. It’s the battery systems that become complicated. I’ve been waiting since 1971 for the electric car to be perfected and it’s just around the corner.

When you had your repair shop, did you name it like the Chinese name thier Restaurants in my neighborhood?… "Happy Garden Auto Center" or "Joyful Auto Repair Corner". There's an auto part center near downtown L.A. called, "My Long Parts" in which they have wisely renamed it, "My Long Auto Parts".

you know what wont last long as a gasoline engine, it’s the EMC chips that drive the electric motor, those suckers can be rewritten only a handful of times ?
Everyone so go out and spend $40,000 dollar on an electric call that will fun for free by the socket on my wall!! Scotty rules!!
Tesla has a large turn around of drive units. An owner can end up replacing at least one drive unit in the lifetime of the car. And if electric motors last forever why do starters and alternators wear out?
