Unfortunately the newer BMWs as well as many of their competitors have too much crap in them but a lot of that has to do with meeting new emissions rules and government legislations! True some of their cars had problems during the mid 2000s till fairly recently but it seems some of the stuff they have put out in the past three years or so have so far been fairly reliable e.g the N47 v B47 the N54 v B48 etc Time will tell though. Saying that I just got myself a 10 year old Z4 with the N52!
When I think or hear the word BMW, I envision the E39.
Mr. Scotty do you have any comments or have worked with a Volkswagen Passat B5.5 that comes with the V6 2.8 Engine?
