    I had to take money up front for parts and materials but kept all the receipts. This was on a 64 Impala, lots of metal work and searching through junkyards for parts because owners wanted to save money. Yes its a shitty game. I owned a body shop for 10 yrs and got fed up with lowballers. We were a small shop,and I did work with all my customers, covering deductibles even let a young couple take their car still owing a small 300-dollar balance. I never saw them again. Thats how shops get in trouble shoestring budgets. They have to take on a job get half up front and then hurry to get it done. Then they run out of money and then take another job and so on and so on. Im a 30 yr certified heavy truck Painter and bodyman and don't miss all the wet sanding color sanding and bullshit that goes with being a shop owner. I the customer is supplying patch panels, you have wire ,gas and shop materials from prior jobs you can front sealer and primer easily. Good video Pete, hope you and Mini are doing well.
