There was A TV show on about this for a while. I stumbled across your channel today but let me validate who I am as what I'm about to say may rub some people the wrong way. I am a master certified mechanic with 30 years experience holds 2 masters credentials but BA and AA and a teaching credential. With that validated a lot of what I see in third world countries and let me add my wife's from El Salvador so yes I've seen what it takes to keep the stuff on the road. Is great fabrication skills it's thinking outside the box. But it is not great mechanic and yes I mechanic and general places can unbolt something put it back on and yay it works but the real what separates the men from the boys is Diagnostics skill. Learn everything you can learn about controller area networks learn everything you can additionally learn about electronics and electrical. Any monkey can take something on and off of a car hack my fourteen-year-old son can do one hell of a brake job. This isn't to put anybody down my point is is I want mechanics to push themselves to be better don't be just a parts hanger don't be someone that just hangs a goddamn part but be the best at diagnostic to validate that point I'm opening another shop this isn't my first my second or even my fifth shop that I've opened I'm over 10 at this point

Got to say, I recently discovered your channel about 2 weeks ago and I’ve learned so many things from it, I learn something new about cars every day and I fix as much as I can on mine (04 rsx type s) I am originally from Cuba and had a blast watching this video because it brings back so many memories, I got so use to say car parts and names in english that I am relearning them again in spanish, I would love to try and translate the video for you, I know many did not have a clue of what the guys were saying but I say it would be a nice project for me.. again I think your channel is awesome and I look up to you for all the advice and tips, great video !!!
