Skotty, my girl has a 2007 Toyota 4 Runner V6. When I'm driving on the highway then hit the brakes the truck starts shaking side to side, it feels like it's going to fall apart. My friend said it can be the brake rotors are warped. Is he right? If not what can it be?

My 1992 Toyota PickUp Truck (not a Tacoma) at 179,000 miles on a broken odometer says "Made In Japan" on the driver door pillar sticker and it sill runs well too. It's one owner but I might decide to sell. Everyone and their uncle has asked me to give them first dibs when I decide to sell. Condition is very good for its age.
