Toyota ought to start getting control of their dealerships. I think they are damaging their reputation with their shenanigans.
Scotty, when I visited today a Tesla showroom, I found one of their strategies is they do not act like a dealer at all; they let you sit on the Tesla 3 Dual Motor, which is programmed to start its air conditioner and radio automatically no matter you leave the door open; and you can navigate to all the on screen display menus without any salesman bothering you. People like a lot not to deal with dealers and they learned and studied it perfectly.
Hi Scotty. I don't know if you will read this but I had a problem similar to that Toyota with the car not wanting to move and having to try a few times before it would go. My car was a 1975 Chevy Nova with a straight six 250ci . In my case it turned out to be the modulator and it was an easy affair to replace on the side of those old Turbo Hydramatic transmissions back in those days… Do these modern Toyotas or modern transmissions (not CVT) still use a modulator? Maybe they do and I understand it might be encased within the transmission but just the same I though I might ask. Greeting from Montreal Canada.

WAS THERE EVER A TESLA REPAIR?
11000 Teslas / 1675 GM dealerships = 6.5 Teslas repaired per dealership. Wow.
There's a shop in Chicago that has 25 Teslas sitting outside waiting for body parts for the last six months
That’s what happens when the people that are used to owning GM & Ford Dealers start buying Toyota dealerships to expand their businesses!
It used to be by law that you had to make enough parts for seven years for anything you sold in the United States. I guess when it comes to Tesla, they don’t say when you have to start making them. lol 😂
In the 1970s I put a detergent oil in my 1968 Toyota Corolla and it 130.000 miles on it and it started blowing smoke out of tail pipe like crazy. It cleaned the valve seals and Piston rings to good. So I put the regular oil back and drove it for about 2 weeks and quit smoking. LOL That was a good old car till I was giving it hell and broke the cam shaft in half racing another car. It had 3 on the tree shifter. LOL
