Poor Hyundai/Kia. They don't realize their enormous corporation is dead because Scotty said not to buy another of their cars. 😂

My wifes 2005 Kia Optima lasted up to 215k with no issues at all! It died the day a tree fell on it! Engine was still strong with no leaks and alternator changed at 188k! We have a 2019 Kia Sorrento and its at 19k miles and no issues except one recall on the car the dealer fixed quickly! Had a dodge charger and the damn thing gave me problems before 10k! at 22k the engine became garbage! Made the dealer buy it back and never wil look at another dodge/crystler car again! Have a 2010 Altima with 96k miles and the AC went out at 31k. HAd an 03 Altima that the engine died at 190k. Had a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am and it was junk, turned it back to the dealer after 3 weeks. That Grand Am was leaking coolant into my oil pan and ran hot! That was a new car! Mitsubishi 1997 montero Sport when sold had 275k only the alternator was changed 3 times ( they guy i sold it to still drive it to this day! 388K). My 01 Mitsubishi Galant had 150k until i sold it. Car I will never get is the Altimas 2012 and up! My co worker and her son both have a 2018 Altima and both engines went out before 40k and hers needs a new transmission! My next vehicle is either a 2020 and Up Tahoe or Dehnali. Might go for a 2016 and up Maxima.

The problem with the theta II and Nu engines wasn’t the design…it was the manufacturing process and quality control from the Alabama Plant. Most of the recalls are American made Kia’s and Hyundai’s that were built domestically. I get how pimple are gonna bash and talk crap but it wasn’t the actually designs of the engines…the workers and lack of quality control are the real problem as to why this recall is happening. Are Hyundai and Kia to blame…yes indeed!! But these engines were built from 5-12 years ago…before Hyundai and Kia had a huge renovation for quality and reliability.

Me and my wife bought 2 brand new cars at the same time 4 years ago i got a 2016 mustang ecoboost and she fell in love with a 2016 Hyundai genesis coupe 3.8 she has 90k miles and not one issue and my mustang has 75k and already my A/C compressor went out on me and driver electric window motor doesn't work and now i went to get an alignment and it looks like one of my front wheel bearings is bad cuz it has play unbelievable i guess my wife has had luck but her mom has a 2012 sonata and that thing has 224k miles on it and she has only had minor issues with it.

My 2020 Hyundai Kona has been at “Reliable Hyundai” car dealership in Springfield MIssouri for 5 months! At 7500 miles, transmission failed and there are no parts available in North America! It’s still there as of Dec 26, 2020. Ironically, I made them pay for my Toyota Corolla rental car.🤣 I would never recommend a Hyundai car or SUV. Run! Fast!

The Hyundai is a fleet car and I have had many problems with dealership and the Kona, Sonata, and a Santa Fe. I personally only drive Toyota’s.

Most Ferris wheels you have been on uses Oak wood bearings. Almost never need to be replaced. The idea that we can't make a bearing race today that doesn't wear out is foolish. Everything is made to break because you know? "it's business".
