We owned 2 Hyundai elantras both had over 250k when we got rid of them. They were 12 years old, and were finally succumbing to rust from road salt. Normal gas tires and brakes, timing belts. Never a single issue with either one. Both still drove and the manual transmissions shifted like new. All the lines and frames started to rust after 12 years, should've rustproof them.

Parts availability important. Love my 94 t-bird. Hard to get parts. Body/wiper module in fusebox not available. They found a refurbished on eBay I could buy at the dealership. I'm an electronic technician so I refurbished the one in the car. Here's hoping the relays on board don't wear out.

Electric cars have been around far longer than gasoline powered cars.

Scotty keeps forgetting about the Toyota Corolla iM formerly called Scion iM which is a hatchback the Matrix. It was replaced with the newly redesigned 2019 Corolla hatchback

Why would you have to 'completely rebuilt' a 2006 engine if the Cummings Diesels are so good? That's the first red flag I would need explained from he seller.

Electric cars might be a decent second car. They are impractical. Hybrid is proven technology, but I don’t like the idea of the extra EMFs on my rear end. I’ll drive a naturally aspirated four cylinder until I die.

If what Scotty said was actually true there would only be one car manufacturer. This guy so full of crap 💩
