I can come up with $3000 for the fancy scan tool but I don't know if I'll use it often enough to justify the expenditure.

    A right hand drive Hummer?
You need to learn not to have the videos reversed.
Looks like you are driving from the right side of the cars in many of your videos.

Sounds like that car had multiple faults and the person never reset the computer.

When you replace parts, you need to RESET the computer or else it will continue to learn wrong. That computer has a multy stage learning system that is divorced from the 1st stage learning system.

That problem was actually caused by a poor manufacturers CPU code cutter. Script writer.

    Always reset your CPU.

First off you can buy injection balance tester's for pretty cheap. You don't need a fancy tool to work on cars. You just need to RESEARCH. The midrange scan tools today can do almost everything you need. The problem here was actually simple & if he'd researched. The strange thing about this situation is the misfire was there before the injectors were changed so it may have just needed rebalancing & nothing else. To me this is more of a failure of Hummers computer program because it should recognize the unbalanced injectors & reprogram itself based on its performance or at minimum have a code for unbalanced injectors. Now im not saying these fancy tools aren't worth the money or that you shouldn't buy them because there a waste. I'd argue the opposite because spending 1 to 2 grand on car repairs is easy so the tool will pay for itself but if you do your research before every job & continue researching everything about your personal vehicle you would have known what this problem was in the first place. Anyway you did a good job Scotty at figuring out what the problem was.

Guy spends thousands to replace engine because of misfire and still has misfire, he must have either been pissed or wanted to shoot himself in the head afterwards.
