Weird, the only vehicle that served me well were the very cheapest GM products. I'm not talking about the cheap Korean crap with Chevy badges, but Cavaliers and Cobalts. I had a Ford that didn't break down, until it was in it's 20's. The Toyota's I've driven had significant problems, and Nissans, well Nissan are wonderful, when they run. Now, I wouldn't wish a Chrysler on my worst enemy. Who am I kidding? Yes, I would.

There are a lot of GM employees and they buy GM.

brand loyalty and the illusion of patriotism are tough things to overcome….

Making a living from bashing manufacturers while it was just announced the average age of vehicles just hit an all time high. It certainly wasn’t because the mechanics are getting better.

The Chevy Volt does the same thing. Who the hell would buy one of these.

GM has been really inconsistent over the years. Their push rod engines are generally good and will last a long time but these new DOHC engines aren't. You really have to know what you are looking for, what's good and what's not with GM before you buy one.

It's not even if you value your money anymore with GM. It's if you value your life!
