Sad part is this is not the worst I have seen folks. The sadder part is NYS is always trying to get on my butt any chance they can to pull my license yet shops like the ones who slap stickers on garbage like this never get caught. Go figure 🤷🏼♂️

State inspection is a joke. They need get rid of it..its EXTREMELY STRESSFUL. An a joke. An they know they got you because if you dont get it an keep it up to date youll get all kinds of fines an tickets. Its rediclous. I absolutely stress out an dred state inspection. Last time it stressed me out i couldnt sleep over it for a couple days. State inspection is a huge deal. I have fight tooth an nail for my state inspection every year. Thank god we don't have emissions test. Its no way mine would pass. An it forces you to buy a newer car an to me thats unconstitutional. That car i would have failed. That car is in my opinion is a total loss. Its got rust issues in the frame an thats structurel. That car is done an needs to be crushed. Common sense.
That's a good example of how government programs and regulations do not fix problems or keep people safe.
In California, as long as you havent fiddled with emissions equipment (turbos, superchargers, headers, etc) and the car passes the SMOG test, you're good to go.

A guy lost his license at Albany Dodge for passing a toyota with the frame recall about 10 years ago when i worked there. Poor guy did it at the request of the special finance manager and it ruined his life.
