When they stop making standard transmissions for North America Scotty will recommend the basic auto transmission over the CVT I bet.
I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7 L V6 everyone once in a while after I drive and put it in park on my dash I’ll see a transmission over temp light will come on and then turn off had the water pump replaced a few months ago

Just don't waste your money on a stupid car.
Toyota, Daihatsu, Volvo or Dacia are great cars to buy new… in Europa at least.
But to say that "everyone should buy a used car" is just misinformation…
Besides, a used car is a car bought new by someone else, right?
I love the idea of used cars but I have been stuck with too many reasons the person got rid of it and hidden by the seller. I roll new Toyota and keep it until it dies. That way i know the history.
Totally with you. Unless your rich it's crazy to buy a new car. My son just got a 2002 Ford Focus with 60, 000 mile that a little old lady owned. $2200.
Runs great no dents or rust. Just had a tune up and new brakes. I got my BMW for $1000. My Chevy s-10 $2500. Of course I still work on my own cars
but think of the savings!
