Good tip for applying the basecoat, don't sweat it with the lacquer get plenty on , the shine comes later when its hardened off, its all down to wet sanding 800-1500-2000 then compound with the buffer and finally polish, easy peasy !!
Do people in shops actually take this amount of time and care to paint cars
