I work on rangers in our fleet at work. Once they hit 150k, they are never ending projects. I swear, they won't go 2k miles without an issue.
$16k for a new truck…. oh boy have time change

Those trucks are junk. Those engines are junk. The driveline is junk (driveshaft and axles). They're good for a cheap beater disposable truck, but most are ready for the scrap heap by 100-120K miles.
isn't it weird that the mazda B and the ford ranger are the exact same truck? I am not even joking the are the exact same truck in every way, the only difference is the logo and the trim packages. same body, same drivetrain, same interior, everything is the same. I know this was mazdas way of getting around the chicken tax, but I don't see the point of ford making 2 identical trucks in the same country and just slapping a different badge on one of them. it just makes no sense.
