Had the earlier mazda/ford version of one of those. 1987 ranger standard trans, extra cab, v6, touch 4wd engagement at any speed. maybe the best vehicle I've ever had. Two repairs in 13 years – valve cover gasket and replace exhaust system.
I just bought one off an older man for 2000 bucks ford ranger 2.3l 1999 automatic with only 79k miles….runs greatttttttt new battery and tune up is all it needed. Just gas mileage sucks I get more on my v8 crown Victoria
Mazda is always a good choice
You’ll never find one of these tho there like gone lol ?
On the streets of the Bronx – every engine is a Vulcan engine. And if it breaks…ya's gotta get the Vulcan thing fixed.
I bought a used 2005 ford ranger FX The V-6 engine was so smooth running one day i noticed that the engine said made in Germany
i was supersized my only complaint about it was the roughest riding truck ever.
Those who aren't in the know, most older mid size pickups are expensive in the US. In the order of most expensive to least goes by: any Toyota, Ranger, Frontier, Mazda Ranger, S10, Izuzu S10, Dakota, Mitsubishi dakota.
Whats your opinion on a 2002 honda accord with the f23A1 engine and manual transmission?
I have an 98 1500 w/t full sized chevy pick up .Has a 4.3 v6 automatic with 340,000 miles on it .It gets 22 mpg in tampa traffic 28 on the open highway.ive had the truck over 10yrs now .yes i do my own maintenance . its beat up but its always been a work truck
Ford engine, Mazda tranny (for manual). Depending on the year, Rangers also have Mazda manual trannies. They're the exact same truck, through and through. 1994 to 2009, both the 2.3 V4 and the 3.0 V.6.
