The tacoma was not cheaper – at least not the V6 version.

  2. Stan TheObserver

Yeah, the Mazda is the wife who can cook and sew,but the Tacoma is the hot blond you want to show off.

My dad bought a 98 Ford Ranger brand new in 2000. Got a discount on it for a little bit of hail damage. Used it as his daily driver for 17 years and put approximately 430,000 miles on it. Never had the engine/transmission rebuilt/replaced. Very solid truck indeed Scotty!

I so wish manufacturers would still put out small pickup trucks!?

  5. PickupsAreNotTrucks

95 ranger with a 2.3 and manual everything. Best pickup I ever owned. I miss it dearly.

Mine has sat in the driveway for a year because the engine is soaked with coolant.. blew both heads

The Mazda truck was really a Ford? Why not! My Ford Escort was really a Mazda 323

My daily is a '94 Ranger. It is definitely not for sale. Great vehicle.
