Here’s a good example why the mechanic shops and body shops don’t like to use “OWNER BOUGHT” parts and supplies! The #1 reason professional automotive shops refuse to use other peoples parts will SHOCK YOU! But It’s TRUE!

I call the those type of dents whisky dents ?
PETE, PLEEEEEEEASE tell me the name of that song at the end of your 100% CORRECT RANT !!! Stupid shazam won't recognize it !!! Take it easy there buddy don't need you to break a blood vesel !!!
Deal with the buy your own parts shit as a mechanic, however if you buy your own parts you get charged more so in the end you ended up paying the same or more than they would have if we got the parts and did the work and would have had a damn warranty!.?
Sorry for your troubles sir… I generally do my own repairs, but some stuff I have shops do for me. I had some suspension work done and specified the parts to be used. Unfortunately the shop chose to use poor quality and low priced junk! Within 6 months the strut bearing were failing – I returned and had them replace the crap parts with the correct strut bearings (supplied by me). Sometimes(rarely) owner supplied parts can be the best way! Cheers and thanks for the videos?
Great advice and nice fonts in video.
Relax Pete. It will be ok.
The owner, who gives a fk, Pete will persevere and fix it, let him slog it out!
He prob put the wrong bushings under the body.
Do you have a video about "how to spray metallics?" Like a aue-360 urethane
