I took my Flood Totaled Aston Martin DBS to the dealer in the Tampa Bay Area to try and program its new Body Control Module after replacing it. Instead they offered a quote for $40,000 for a wiring harness and a couple keys. What a total rip-off! So we take a trip to the Junkyard to try and find a very similar set of wires for a fraction of their price…

Wow they actually sound even worse than a BMW stealership. I would contact Volvo directly about them.

    Right. To. Repair.

The dealers have a monopoly on the software, and until we break that monopoly, they can pretty much screw us any which way they want. We need to get nationwide right-to-repair legislation passed, to force manufacturers to sell their proprietary tools to independent shops and DIY'ers.

You should have rigged the car up with video and audio so we could have all witnessed them charge you $600 bucks for them to not even touch your vehicle! Guaranteed those lazy fucks didn't touch your vehicle! Especially since you didn't want to spend the 40k they quoted you!!
