Too cheap haha π you are one of a kind π god bless you π
Hi from Nelson! 17 mill! Wow, nice one, well done π How much was the van cost offset by the YT income the vids produced?
nice work dude. having built 2 campers to date I can relate to the cost of those LITTLE things
Even though it was a little higher than your budget, the overall investment is great value (including your time at a very modest $20/hour which is definitely too low even in USD!) Good idea to quote everything in USD but I hope your viewers notice we pay a lot more for everything down here than the equivalent products in the US. Happy travels. Thanks for the video. Cheers, David
I guessed >$10k so you did well by my ill-informed standards. All the conversions I have seen use multiple (e.g. Victron) boxes but these days there are several companies doing an "all in one" device to connect PV MPPT, mains charge battery and provide an inverted mains voltage output. Quite apart from the cost saving this makes for a smaller, tidier arrangement. Look for Growatt, MPP Solar or EG4.
Very nice, cheaper than I guessed
Just when I thought this dude was at Mastery level …………he reveals the sawing machine was borrowed * bit disappointed (dam, I was routing for you) ππ
In a serious not "Quality Job mate" props
Your so cool keep up the good work
Brilliant. This is THE BEST explanation of what it takes to do a great van build – by yourself. Good workmanship too. Your attention to detail is enviable. Genius. Thank you for posting and sharing. π
Just to let people know, this van with that kind of toilet from 2024 will not be allowed to be "self-contained" in New Zealand as the rules will change.
