Love ya but this time you are off on your analysis- the China plant is for mostly domestic production and they are using inferior, lower range, batteries- the rest are destined for Europe. In the US the car are presold into 2022 already- so it because of the demand is so high they are working on the higher end models and power train. The whole while they are ramping up their manufacturing to be set for larger production , especially when the newer batteries are ready. Elon said "it is hard to change a tire when you are going 80 mph". This is a different car company architecture with different thought processes. Give them some time ….

So much for a greener earth. What are we gonna do after all these batteries go bad? Is it even recyclable or do we need space-x to shoot all this garbage out into space?

LG is short for Lucky Goldstar. I remember their TV from tge 1980s. I purchased one and the first one would not turn on. The 2nd one worked for a week, and the third one last three months.
Before I knew.LG stood for lucky goldstar, I purchased an LG refrigerator with a linear compressor which failed about 9 months. Lucky for me I moved my old refrigerator out to the garage.

9 months after the LG refrigerator failed I am still waiting on LG to obtain parts and repair the refrigerator. I brought back in my 1999 White side by side refrigerator and use that while my 2.5 year old LG waits for parts.

Never will by an LG again!

They're trying to make an actual profit instead of relying on carbon credit purchases from other automakers.
