If that’s happend to me I’d never buy Kia EVER again. Hey Kia if your listening like Scotty said step up to the plate give the lady a new car.
My friend had a 2019 Kia soul. Engine blew up twice on him and just finally decided to get rid of it.
Bring it to Milwaukee and the KIA boys (Hyundai) will hot wire it.
This is all why I build and drive my own classic cars… I know them inside and out, and know they are safe.. Ill never buy a new car.
Yet people will keep on buying these rolling pieces of garbage and they are not cheap.
Kias ridiculous seriously they’ve replaced so many engines then those engines broke and they turn around and say all well we already fixed the problem (obviously not!!)
The new engine has the same faulty design duh
I just got a rebuilt Engine installed for free on my 2015 Optima. I fit the Criteria to a T. I'm the original owner. I kept perfect care with all my service records. And I was at 98K miles.

Fear mongering on high octane
I have a Kia, Mazda, Nissan, and a Kia. Kia's have been great. Cabine design, controls, and tech is superior. I also prefer handling on Kia's. Mazda is smooth but disconnected from the road. Frankly they've all been very reliable. 28k to 35k. You get what you pay for.
