It is time to adapt, improvise and overcome as they say. In this video we have a look at Suzuki Vitara that cam in the shop with a few problems, one of them being …

I used a vent valve from a 03 chevy tracker . $40+ from Amazon. Exact fit. For the purge valve I got a Nissan unit smaller but it worked. Then I smoked it found a rust rotted vent pipe at top of gas tank.

A BCM AND a TCM, aye? Wowza – no wonder you're busy! ?

Nice work! I'd have never even thought of attempting this – would've never imagined it would work if I hadn't just seen it myself.

Makes you wonder how many cars are needlessly scrapped every year, due to stupid and minor issues such as this. Probably in the thousands – and that's just in the Northeast region! And guess who that hurts when used car prices go through the roof due to a shortage? The very people a certain political party claims to be always helping – ironically, the one that mandated this stupid crap to be on all cars and trucks … ?

Hit 97° over here today! Was a steamer! My Davis weather station had a "Dangerously high heat index warning" message, and I saw 123°F there at one point! Better than being cold, I say! ?

Tried to get that ABS module programmed on that Sierra – not a single shop around has the technology! One of them was one of the biggest and busiest ones in the area, too! Guess I'd better invest in a J-box and laptop now. I'll have zero competition!

Awesome fix I always Frankenstein my cars if the part is no longer available usually put GM parts as they are usually the cheapest and most available lucky the bolts came apart up here in Ottawa Canada I just know they would have just broken off

Poor Eric with the rust. Down here in Texas, when we unscrew a nut, we just keep unscrewing. Ive never had to unscrew a little, screw back in, back out, back in, etc. I'm down here thinking "cmon just unscrew the thing" but then i forgot oh yea, rust belt.

Beast… Mr. O. you really are in the minority of technicians that can diagnose any problem with certainty and overcome any obstacle. Frankly, I don’t even consider myself or anyone I work with in this category, but hope to get there someday.

Those big cutters are great for cutting hoses ! You get a nice clean, STRAIGHT cut. Mine are Craftsman.

Use RTV Silicon between the vent valve and the bracket. It won't rattle and bounce around. Work fine and last a long time.

The trailing arm looked like it had a severe crack in it. Filled with water and froze. Expansion break.
