Carmax is the worst place to buy a used car from, bar none. I would rather buy a car from a used car salesman with a plaid polyester sport jacket.
A gas car would run out of gas just the same as an electric one would run out of electricity, you can stop to recharge it, same as you can stop to fill up gas, but you can't stop when you're running from the cops

CarMax in my area always +$1000 over bluebook value. HINT: a bank will only loan you value, so thats $1k out of your pocket. Why do people keep buying from them?
My friend bought Prius from CarMax, few months later paint start chipping away on front bumper. Clean title, clean Carfax is often bs, the car was in the wreck and no history of it there.
