    Don’t forget if people keep trying to force as much gas into their tanks as humanly possible they are going to clog the carbon filter in the tank which will require about 300.00 to fix after it throws a check engine light. When the pump clicks one time leave it alone

    I rode motorcycle exclusively for 2 years. I got used to keeping it on the 1st detent because the splash back would stop the damn thing b4 I'd pump even a cup of gas.

    Manufacturers of metering systems have flow ratings on their meters. Example, 1 to 10 gallons a minute. They are designed to meet NIST regulations of accuracy usually being 0.15% +/- on new installs. If flow is above or below then you are out of operating range of the system. Basically, if you pump your gas painfully slow, then more flows around the metering element, therefore free gas.
