Cabin air filter is $20 on Amazon, literally fitted in 2 minutes. BMW dealership – $60
So take my Mercedes c class main dealer for a service, he calls to say that the brake pads need changing. I say ‘don’t bother, I’m selling it soon and I’ll wait for the warning light’. 12 months later, still have the car, took it for a service at another main dealer, I ask them to check the brakes, they say ‘they’re fine’
People need to realise that knowing basic car maintenance will save them thousands of dollars, changing oil will more regularly will double the life expectancy of a car, that’s got to be a good thing.
