My neighbor across the street was a carpenter and roofer. I would sweep up enough and magnet 🧲 pick enough to stock Home Despot and Lowe land each week. Kept fix a flat, spares, and jacks, compressor handy .

Funny enough, this week I found a roofing nail on my tire. Went to two tire shops, they said tire was too near the tire shoulder to be patched. I recalled a random service I purchased with my vehicle and gave it a try. Turns out they replaced the tire free of charge – and I still have a few more years to go before having to worry about paying for a tire out of pocket.
