So, the part about manufacturers not supplying parts for very long isn't entirely true Scotty. We are still building service radiator supports for the 99-06 Chevy CK pickups and SUVs. Also front and rear bumper beams and crush cans for Ford Crown Vics. I make and pack a whole variety of small parts for Toyota. The oldest part is a battery clamp for the 93-96 Camry 4 cylinder. We also supply parts for older Hondas, GM and Chrysler, Mazda too. Sometimes it takes years before our customers decide to classify the parts as obsolete. More people are fixing their older vehicles because they can't afford to replace them. We are gearing up to manufacture battery side plates for GM electric cars. We will see how that goes.

I don't know about other brands but there are a fairly decent number of Tesla's on the road in South Florida. To the point that I am guaranteed to see at least one anytime I go out.
Get off my lawn. Goodness. You can say the same thing about gas cars and parts, no? Is there a special law for gas cars? Change, man. Accept it.
In my 2015 silverado, my radio and other sounds like turn signals wouldn't work when started. If I drove for 20 minutes I could shut it down and restart and I had sound. Was worse when cold. When I replaced my battery it never happened since
Polstars don't have a wait period as much as people say.
Also, if GM makes longer lasting parts, cars, wouldn't that alone help save the environment from all the waste and their brand?
Make better sh-t.
Avoid Walmart batteries like the plague. A friend took one back and while waiting two other people were returning batteries too, 🤨
