I don't buy a car to crash it. So I don't care.
I don't think you want to wire a dash cam directly to the battery because the camera will be running all the time and kill the battery. Of course you can manually turn the camera on and off, or change modes, but that would get old and you'd either forget to turn it back on or off. You need some kind of switched connection. Many dash cams come with optional wiring kits just for this problem .
Scotty I have a 2002 eclipse GS 2.4 I drove it it started surging and lost power wouldn't start throwing a crack sensor circuit a code I'll make it short I replaced crank sensor and it ran for about 140 miles and went bad again so now I replaced the plugs, plug female end on crank sensor, tps, new coils, plugs, wires, tps,ECU,battery terminals, cleaned the injectors new fuel pump, new main crank and cam seals, new fuel temp sensor, oil pressure sensor, cam sensor, we have fuel going to the rail,we have 12.75 v going to the coil packs,we just redid the timing, and still doing same thing runs for about 3 hours or 140 miles and shuts up gotta change the crank sensor or let it sit for two days to start it again, also I changed the crank sensor angle blade plate my son was three sadly he recently passed away and my ex stole 15,989 off me I'm struggling and need to fix this car and I've spent countless hours and nights working it it please 🙏 help me figure this Mitsubishi eclipse GS 2.4 out thank you
Scotty – sure, it's interesting to hear your perspective once in awhile but do you still make car repair videos?
💖
love Scotty
The dash cams come with a fuse adapter with their own fuse which doesn't affect anything else…..is this a case of an old dog learning a new trick
