So would it be cheaper to charge your car at home, rather then use an outside source
Just get a hybrid. You save A LOT on gas, and you never ever have to plug the car to charge the battery. I drive a 2022 Toyota Corolla hybrid, and regularly average 65+ mpg. If I drive longer distance without much elevation changes, low 70s mpg is highly achievable.
When I get an ev I’ll also get solar. Supercharging will be the exception

Dear Scotty, Why don't you tell people about the efficiency of electric compared to gasoline? Gasoline is about 20% efficiency per gallon compared to 60% as compared to the same gallon of gasoline in electrical terms. Yes, they are charged from the grid which is like you say coal fired, oil fired, solar, windmill etc. but with 40% increased efficiency. So Scotty do the research. Yes, the government and big corporations will continue to screw us over by raising prices and trying to stop us from traveling but at least electric car owners will travel more efficiently than gas powered vehicles. I've been a mechanic for over 50 years and have owned an automotive shop working on gasoline powered cars. I've had a Tesla now for 4 years and I have to say that in that 4 years I have never ever thought of going back to a gas car. I now build Tesla powered conversions because of how nice they run and how much cleaner they are compared to gas. No oil + filter changes, no gas or diesel smell and no more going to the gas station.

My truck had a gas smell and it was a fuel injector that leaked while driving but stopped while not running.
Scotty, sometimes you say the most crazy things on your channel. Get real electric cars are here to stay. Once the government get the idea, they don’t care about cost. It’s only a matter of time before gas cars will be obsolete. Yes the price of charging eclectic cars is going up. I remember when the price of gas was .25 cents a gallon, look where it is now over $4.00 per gallon, people haven’t stop driving have they ? I know you hate the progress that that we are making with electric cars. It’s not going to work, 8ts already working. Old people just hate change, if it were up to them we might still be walking everywhere we had to go. I wish you would come into the future. Some People are just so stubborn. But that’s ok they only hurt themselves. God bless you.
Always mentions not to buy cheap chinese. 'Mericans WANT cheap crap: food, anything from WallyMart, etc. They don't pay attention to anything that might be helpful to their health or the way of life of workers here.
