Why it that the Hybrids are more poorly built? Ok just a theory but it seems to be the case. Japanese are honorable people. Good on the USA for building Toyota's? Things like seats should never break
Never had issue with my local Lexus dealership for services. Other than once they forgot to clean the windscreen. One time they noticed the Water Pump had a tiny leak so they replaced it under warranty that day and just told me about it and listed it on free parts and service notice. They even said had it taken longer than a day i could keep the loan car until it was repaired just in case.
Its all about money scotty
SCOTTY ….. try a junkyard, that new of a vehicle should be in the junkyard, $45 a seat !
Independently owned and operated aside, if it is under a MANUFACTURER WARRANTY it is covered free of charge parts and labor. Period. Anything else these “scumbag” dealerships have to say about it, get names and numbers and call Toyota Corporate. TC would be very interested in what is going on. Their name is on the door, whether or not the subsidiary is “owned” by an individual or not, the dealership has certain rules to adhere to. It’s not the Wild West
