Welcome to my Youtube homepage video, this channel trailer is long overdue! My channel is ALL about How to carry out DIY Car Maintenance and Repairs.
Anyway, this is my opportunity to tell you a bit about myself and why I make videos for you good people on YouTube, that show you how to fix your own car!
So here goes….
Basically, I have crazy engineering skills and I have always used these to fix all sorts of things but especially to maintain my own cars.
Due to my training and peculiar personality, when carrying out car maintenance and repairs, I would always carry out a TON of research before starting a job on a car. I liked to be well prepared. I would then buy all of the tools, parts and materials that I needed to complete the task and then go do it. So, as I mentioned, I would spend a lot of time doing this and it would help exactly 1 person complete a job = Me.
However, what I have come to recognise about myself is that I like to teach people and I like to help people when I can.
When I discovered YouTube, I realised that I could now do all of that same research and preparation but now I could SHARE and hopefully help other people carry out the same work on their cars! Sure, it takes a lot more time filming and editing but the feedback I get from people I have helped makes it worthwhile!
