Thank you! I did what I warn everyone else not to do – changed the wiper and BAM! Down it fell. Crack! Then I did nothing and watched it grow. It's about 2 feet now, across the bottom of the glass, horizontally. I thought I was doomed to a new windshield. The car is a 1996 Honda Accord. A new windshield would cost more than the book on the car!!! Now I can fix it. Thank you so much!

It would eventually keep spreading and the long crack will start being more noticeable from experience.
