Showed the application of the Rain-X 600001 Windshield Repair Kit on a 2019 Honda Pilot to repair a chip and a very long crack. Worked out pretty good, would recommend.

Sucks it didnt erase the crack, i wonder if the resin got all the way in? Probably best to have a buddy apply pressure from the other side as you apply
There is a reason why it comes with the plugs and a surringe. The surringe is for helping force the resin into the crack via pressure, you can't just dab it on the top, it won't properly get forced into the crack. You also need to flex the windshield so the crack opens slightly to allow the resin in. No wonder just about everyone fucks this up. Here is a proper video, none of this trash: https://youtube.com/watch?v=3UxQpTeQBQg&feature=share
You forgot to kinda softly pull so u can gap it a little more where resin could’ve got In better but not bad
Big ol mop of curly hair…
Dude… for crying out loud! Just replace your windshield!
Hey dude, ive seen this get done 100% cleared with same equipment, you have to use the suction device and grease the sides both sides 5-10 cm from crack and slowly drip resin and move suction as you go along, what will happen is the resin will fill the bullseye and line crack 100% with that pressure on it… you can also tap the glass inside to help resin flow inside….after few hours scrap and clear glass. hope this helps .
Do you think multiple treatments would help out filling up the crack?
Did you pass inspection afterwards? Because I bought this to help my truck pass inspection because I can't afford to replace the windshield right now.
Very very helpful. Thank you.
As I tightened the suction cups, the crack became bigger. It cracked inside and I cannot even fill it. Even after resin dried, I don't see improvement. Is it a bad news?
