Hi Robert, thanks for your videos! I find them very useful. I think my 1997 850 T-5 has bad ABS module (ABS and TRACKS OFF light comes on often). Do you have a video on replacing/repairing that? Also, my front outer rubber boots (near the tires) are torn, you think I should replace them, and if so, is it pretty easy for an average auto repair DIY'er?

    Thanks again!

    Thanks for watching.

I do not have a video for the ABS module yet. I replaced ours before I started doing videos.

If your CV boots are torn, do replace them. Once you pull the axle, you release the clip and pull the boots off. You will need to clean all the dirt and old grease off before repacking them and installing the new boots. It took me about 6 hours to do both sides in the cool winter night but it is not that bad of a job.

Robert, I have a 10 valve engine in my 850 wagon. I think at the last oil change i filled in a little to much oil. Should I pump it out with my oil pump or should i drive some more to even in out, because these engines consumes some amount of oil.

If it is just a little over, less than 1/4" I would not worry about it. But if it's more than 1/2 quart, I would drain some out of the drain plug. You can drain it into a clean pan and pour whatever you need back in. The put the rest in a good container and add it back later.

Hello, how do you feel about engine oil additives, in particular Liqui Moly MoS2 anti-friction

I have never added anything in my oil and hope I never have to. If the motor is strong (a compression test will tell) there is enough additives in the oil to keep the motor clean. Wait, I take that back, I had a car with a bad cam bearing that I added Slick 50 to every 10,000 miles. It really helped that motor.

I have been fortunate to have cars with pretty strong motors and have not had to experiment with additives. I put Lucas injector cleaner in my fuel tank every 2,500 miles or 90 days.

Very informative video sir. Having a volvo s90 and also a nissan maxima in the past I learned that the specifications for proper tire inflation is on the inside of the door when you open it. For my volvo the proper tire inflation is 27 psi. I thought the same thing in the past but the specs are either on the inside of the door or on the jam of the door.
