    I had a friend try this 20 years ago. 3 transmissions, 6 clutches, 5 drive shafts. 15k later and a lot of tears it vibrates at 60 mph when you let off the gas. Stock 87 Monte Carlo. 81 Malibu pedals, Richmond transmission. Vipers and 03-04 cobra t56 are different. Only way to do this is 89-96 c4 transmission out of a corvette. The whole setup is wrong. Customer’s fault for watching Tv shows and YouTube videos. Charge him. Should have bought a totaled 2005 GTO and swapped everything. Holly terminator stand alone. Mounts would have been your only problem. But as they say… “Customers are always right”. When customers ask for this pieced together junk I say no. 4 speed with 3.23 gear would have been perfect. Put it together, get paid and NO WARRANTY! It will never be right. All this stress for nothing. That’s Gypsy garbage.

    Pete it this whole post pandemic bull shit. Back in the day it meant something to be Youtube certified. Hell that how i started watching you 4 yrs ago on how to kill rust pitting before filling over it.

    Pete, the reverse lockout is only job once activated based on mph, is to prevent you from going into reverse while driving the car. It's just there to prevent you from accidentally jamming reverse while trying to go into 6th gear. All the modern 6 speed transmission come with this feature. The transmission will operate with or without it connected. The other two sensors you will need to wire up if you want to have reverse taillights and mph signal… hope this helps Pete

    No one posts a backwards flywheel video because no one has ever done that before…. I don’t even know it’s possible to bolt a flywheel on backwards?? Lol…. Cheer up Pete we get your frustrations dude😅

    Tough situation Pete. If there is a solution you will find it. A big thanks for sharing your mistakes. It is so valuable to know how easy it is to screw something up. The only guy not making mistakes is the one sitting on his ass and he doesn’t realize that’s a mistake !

    I prefer a mechanical clutch. No hydraulic parts to fail, no bleeding lines, no BS.

    SAW thier video about using the bread technique and then say all we need to do is call some other shop to get customize drive shaft but yes, they never show that the car actually moves after installation!.
