I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect the environmental push for EV is a smoke screen for something more worrisome.
They love playing on people's ignorance to make money. It's what corrupt government does.
2% of the pollution is exhaust from vehicles but 20% of our pollution is brake dust. If we can figure out a way to make brake pads that don’t pollute brake dust we could cut that 20% of our pollution out almost overnight. But instead they wanna push these electric cars down our throats that put out more pollution than a gasoline vehicle. Even electric vehicles have brake pads so the electric vehicles will still be contributing to the the 20% of brake pad pollution we already have.
